Egyptian Treasures (Cairo, Alexandria & Hurghada) 08 Days /07 Nights

A full-day tour follows breakfast at the hotel. This morning, you will be driven to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx: the most famous monuments of ancient Egypt and the entire ancient world!
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be taken to Sakkara to see the first pyramid ever built, the Step Pyramid of Djoser. You will also get the chance to see some fantastic mastaba tombs.

You will then head to the ancient capital of Egypt: Memphis, where you will see the museum. The Colossus of Ramses II dominates the museum here! After this amazing trip through Egypt's pharaonic past, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel is followed by another full-day tour, but this time you will spend the forenoon at the Egyptian Museum of Civilization (NMEC). The NMEC is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world. It presents the full range of the richness and diversity of Egyptian civilization throughout the ages, from prehistoric times to the present day, by focusing on its continuity and stability as demonstrated by its tangible and intangible heritage.

The museum's exceptional collection includes the royal mummies, which are exhibited in a new interactive display using 21st century cutting-edge technology to go beneath the wrappings and reveal their secrets, in addition to shedding light on the rituals and religious beliefs surrounding mummification in ancient Egypt.    
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be taken to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD to protect Cairo from the Crusaders and rebuilt by Muhammad Ali Pasha, whose mosque is a "must-see.

Before being driven back to your hotel, you can visit the old market of Cairo (Khan El-Khalili) to test your haggling skills.

Your day starts with breakfast in your hotel followed by a drive, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Alexandria. Your visit to this beautiful city, originally built by Alexander the Great, includes a trip to:

The catacombs (Kom el Shoqafa), where the early Christians were buried.
The Roman Amphitheatre, which every town in the ancient Roman Empire had.
The Citadel of Qaitbay, where around 1480 AD the Mameluke Sultan Al-Ashraf Qaitbay fortified the site, which held the ruins of the Alexandria Lighthouse. With successive improvements, it now stands as a very prominent Citadel on the Mediterranean coastline.  
The Montazah Gardens, a private park where world leaders often meet. This 150-acre park features numerous trees, palms, and flowers overlooking many bays and beaches.

Lunch will be supplied at a local restaurant in the middle of this exciting tour, and at the end of the day, you will have a tired but fulfilled drive back to Cairo.

Our day starts with your last breakfast in Cairo, followed by checkout. Afterward, you will be driven, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Hurghada, where you will check in at your hotel upon arrival.  

The rest of the day belongs to you, but there will be opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and other water sports.

Your final day starts with breakfast at the hotel followed by check-out. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
